About me
Hi, I am Prateek, currently a PhD student at CSE Department, IIT Bombay, (generously funded by the Prime Minister Research Fellowship).
I had a brief 2.5 year stint at Microsoft Research India with Dr. Amit Sharma and Vageesh Chandramouli where I worked on building recommendation systems using causal inference as part of SCAI (Center for Societal impact through Cloud and Artificial Intelligence). During this time I also collaborated with Prof. Malay Bhattacharyya at Indian Statistical Institute w.r.t to Anomaly Detection in Large Graphs using Streaming Sketches and with Dr. Bryan Hooi’s lab at NUS focusing on streaming algorithms and heavy-hitters.
My research interests lie in optimization problems in machine learning theory.
